Our philisophy

We want to give our hosts the best possible house sitting experience.

We are reliable: we are on time and follow the arrangements ("Your house your rules!").

We are responsible: the happiness and health of your pets are our first priority.

We are trustworthy: we don't smoke, don't do drugs or parties, we have a clean police record.

Our own pets

When we where kids we always had pets at home. It started with a small fish tank with goldfish and turtels, later we got hamsters, mice and several kind of birds. When we where about 10 years old our first cats joined our family. We saw them growing, watched them give birth to their kittens and accompanied them on their last way. I learned to ride the horse and worked on the horse farm for many years. Now our dog Alma and our cat Panda are part of our family. We always accompanied by our beloved pets and we are greatful for the joy and happiness they brought to our lives.

What we do ... and don't

When we started to travel, we learned about house sitting. This gave us the opportunity to help people with their pets, when they need someone to look after them during their own vacation. During many house sits we met amazing people and their beloved animals. Besides cats and dogs we also cared about roos, horses, chicken, fish, reptiles and farm animals.

There is a lot more we can do then just look after your pets. We want to give you the good feeling not to be worry about anything, so you can have the "peace in mind" when you are on your well deserved vacation or on an important business trip.

Even we are glad to help and "go the extra mile" for our hosts, we have our limitations; tasks we can't do or which should being put in the hand of professionals. These are in particular: elderly and children care, supervision of construction work, extensive physical work and pets with severe behavior disorders or terminal illnesses.

Safety

Trust is good, safety is better. We understand, that's you may have concerns to let strangers in your house and dealing with your pets. No worries! We come with a clean police record and a liability insurance.

What we need

We are very easy going and don't need much on our trips. However, in order to keep our online businesses running we need a high speed internet access, we hope you can provide during the stay.

We had a great sit experience with Dandan and Andy who looked after our fur-baby Paddy for 16 days. They are a lovely, kind, genuine couple, who really went out of their way to give Paddy their love and attention, and we were able to go away with the peace of mind knowing that he was in good hands. After Paddy's accident earlier in the year, he was prescribed some 'physio' exercises by the vet, and Dandan and Andy were so diligent and patient in doing these with him for which we are very grateful. We came back and could instantly see how much better Paddy was moving. We loved seeing the Paddy-update photos and videos during our holiday, and came back to a lovely clean house on our return. Dandan and Andy, it's been wonderful getting to know you both and thank you so much for taking care of Paddy!

Benedikt and Dandan were with us in Cologne for almost 5 months. They took exemplary care of our house, the garden and our two cats Schocki and Lotte! At first we were very worried because it had been a very long time and we hoped that everything would go well. But our worries were completely unfounded. We had a very good feeling right from our first meeting (we were lucky enough to get to know each other in person beforehand) and we quickly realized that we could completely rely on the two of them! The communication in advance was always very friendly and we discussed everything necessary. When we were away, Benedikt and Dandan always kept us up to date with photos, videos and reports. We never had any worries and knew that Schoki and Lotte would be in good hands with the two of them! Benedikt and Dandan are absolutely reliable and trustworthy! We had a great time out and were very happy that Benedikt and Dandan felt so comfortable with us and that the cats were doing so well. Benedikt even took care of things like chimney sweeps and pump maintenance and a few other little things around the house.

When we got back he picked us up from the train station and the two of them surprised us with a homemade cake. Lotte and Schoki also greeted us happily and weren't the least bit shy. This showed us more than clearly how well they were doing during the 5 months we were away! Thanks again for the really great support! We are very happy that Benedikt and Dandan will be looking after our two sweethearts for another 3 weeks in July! And you are always welcome back with us!

Dandan and Benedikt were the perfect Housesitters! They were flexible, reliable, kept us updated daily about Soko, and most importantly, they took fantastic care of Soko. Soko loved them! Dandan and Andy deserve a lot more than the official maximum of five stars!

This charming couple took care of our home, garden and five cats for nearly three months. Our cats are extremely cuddly and used to us being around (we both work from home). However, they are very differenct characters, not always getting along with each other and requiring quite some attention, plus one of of them needs medication on a regular basis. The garden - it being spring and summer - needed a lot of care, including lawn-mowing and daily watering.

Further more, we asked them to communicate with us constantly, to send over photos of the cats and of arriving mail, and to receive parcels (DHL, amazon etc) for us and our neighbours.

Our WhatsApp contact evolved into a great and trusting relationship, day by day we saw and felt that Dandan and Andy were just wonderful. The dream of every pet /home owner looking for a sitter.

Needless to say that when we came back, our home and garden were in perfect condition. And the cats gave us the cold shoulder, obviously perfectly happy with their carers.

The cherry on the cake was a fan-tastic Chinese dinner prepared by Dandan the evening of our return.

We already asked Dandan and Andy to sit for us again in September and sincerely hope they will be available for more sits, in particular the next long-term-one planned for next spring/summer.

Once again our boys have struck lucky! Dandan and Andy took very good care of Alfie and Hoggy and the house.

We received daily photographs and videos of the the boys, and they had a great time with Dandan and Andy-

On our return they had `prepared some snacks for us, which we shared with them.

We would have no problem in recommending them for any sits and we are hoping to have them back next year

Andy and Dandan came to housesit our two dogs for a weekend so we could go away. From the first impression the first time we met them we were very at ease with them. On the day that we left, they wanted to make sure that they were at the house early enough for the dogs to settle before we left which I think was a great idea. I felt good leaving the dogs in such capable hands. Throughout the weekend we got updates and pictures of very happy looking dogs. They even watered the plants without me having asked them to do so and cleaned after the dogs in the garden. When we got home, the house was perfectly clean, the bedding was removed and they even kindly put my sons bedding back on the bed so we wouldn't have to. Andy and Dandan are great people and I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs their pets looked after. Thank you Andy and Dandan for giving us peace of mind while we were away and for caring so well for our dogs.

Andy and Dandan looked after our two fur babies and our house while we were away. There communication was excellent from the beginning and were very prompt with there replies. While we were away they sent photos and updates of our fur babies which allowed us to enjoy our holiday knowing they were being taken care of and were very happy. They looked after our house and it was clean and tidy on our return. The whole process was very smooth and hassle free. Andy and Dandan were amazing house sitters and our dog Casper loved them from the first time we met with them beforehand. They were super responsible, reliable and thoughtful with the care of our dog, chickens and garden and left the place absolutely spotless, much cleaner than it was before! They sent us photos and videos with a little update every day. I also really appreciated that they would ask us questions, if they weren't completely sure about a situation. In a heart beat we would have Andy and Dandan back to look after our house and pets. Sash the dog loves them, and we returned to a calm pet, who can be a bit anxious at this time of year with the weather. The guinea pigs were happy with the long grass and while there was a mishap with our Catfish deciding his tank mate looked tasty, the fish and tank were great. Not only did we return to a happy house, but we also were met with an amazing meal to welcome our return! Belinda & Steve are the most amazing people we met on our journey. This house sit was our first assignment and it seems to be a challange. They lived on a large farm outside of Cowra with their lovely boxer Bonnie, three horses, goat, sheeps and ten roos. We had a great stay with no problems whats soever. After they returned from their vacation we where invited to stay longer to build up our camper for our Australia big loop.

We became close friends during this time.

Andy and Dan Dan were simply outstanding. I cannot speak highly enough of the both of them. They were magnificent in all aspects. My house was clean and tidy when I came back, my pets were extremely happy and well looked after and it was a joy to come back to a house looking so good. Both of them were very respectful and polite! They kept in touch with me throughout my trip, sending me pleasant updates. They cooked dinner for me when I arrived back and had the house looking immaculate. They even cleaned parts of my house and yard that they didn't need to but do so anyway. Again I cannot speak highly enough of Andy and DanDan. Simply the best house sitters I've ever had......and also now I consider friends of mine. Thank you for looking after all of my animals (including my possums) and we will all miss you so very much. We hope that one day you can come back and stay with us again.
